Kohn's Kosher Foods is a family operated business in St. Louis, Missouri..

Simon Kohn and his wife Bobbi started the business in the 1963.  They took over a Kosher neighborhood grocery store that had a meat department.  Bobbi's flair for cooking had an immediate impact on the business.  The couple, immigrants from Post World War II Europe, started making homemade Kosher delicacies such as Knishes, Kreplach, Strudel, Khishka and more.

Soon afterwards the Kohn's put their kitchen and meat department under a U.S.D.A inspection. This enabled them to ship their meat products interstate.  Their hard work paid off and in the late 1970's their children, Rosemary and Lenny, joined the business.  With a reputation of selling quality products at a fair price, Kohn's Kosher Foods became known throughout the Midwest.  Co-Ops in cities such as Memphis, New Orleans, Dallas, Denver and even as far as the West Coast  began purchasing Kosher meat from Kohn's.

Fast forward to the year 2000: Kohn's Online facilitates the ordering of the finest Kosher Meats and delicacies from the comfort of your desktop, to any destination in the United States.

Sitting at home, wherever that may be, we would like you to know what we do at Kohn's and what products and services are available to you.

We have a fresh, full service, Kosher retail meat department with friendly butchers (most of the time) waiting to fill your orders.  We also sell wholesale meats and products to hotels, restaurants, hospitals, nursing facilities, super markets, private schools, and co-ops to many locations across our great country.  As such, we are under constant supervision and inspection of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

In the mood for a great deli lunch?  We have a fully stocked deli with all of your favorites, including our delicious home made corned beef, pastrami, and tasty smoked fish (salmon, sable, lox, etc.)

We offer a great assortment of freshly made delicious salads, and many more of our internationally famous (almost) homemade specialty foods (meat and potato knishes, kreplach, khiska, and many others).

Dining room capacity for more than 60 makes a great place to eat, nosh or kibbitz (how about all three?)

If you are in need of Kosher dry goods, refrigerated or frozen foods, a large assortment is available and waiting for you at Kohn's.

We put a lot of time and effort into our ready to eat foods and our catering department.  Our catering services include corporate catering (lunch boxes and party platters).  We also provide full service catering for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, or any special occasion needed.  Just call us and we'll feed the troops.

In the event of a loss of a friend or relative, Shiva trays can be sent out on minimum notice.  Rely on Kohn's to serve you in your hectic time of need.
